Today, Josh is interviewing Steven Davis, personal trainer & owner of Davis Fitness Method, his studio gym in Seattle where he trains clients. We cover a lot of ground in this episode, ranging from the importance of recognizing your clients are human beings (not robots), to how understanding functional anatomy and other training principles can allow you to better individualize training for yourself and the people you work with. We also talk about his roots in fitness, how he has evolved as a trainer, and how reading, self education, and mentorship can have a huge impact on the path you take.
