Today we are excited to bring you an interview with Dr. Eric Helms! Dr. Helms has a PhD in Strength and Conditioning, a Master's in both Exercise Science and Sports Nutrition, and a Bachelor's in Fitness and Wellness. He's a research fellow for AUT at the Sports Performance Research Institute in New Zealand. He's been a trainer since the early 2000s and earned his pro status as a natural bodybuilder in 2011. He's one of the founders of 3D Muscle Journey, who are the OGs of the natural bodybuilding space. Basically, he's super strong and super smart.

In this episode, we talk about what is required and realistic at all levels of fitness, how to reduce the potential for harm that's inherent in physique sports, and how the personal training industry can improve - his answer to that might resonate with a lot of you trainers out there.
