One thing I don't hear people mention often enough is their time, some people already have a business, life, children and we want to do a membership business so we can get more freedom - some might be to leave their job, some might be to move their business into a membership. We have to think about the time we have to work on this business. Build
Gather ideas: This is when you are just thinking about your membership, collect your ideas in somewhere like a notebook or Evernote.
Join groups in your niche: Join some groups in your niche on Facebook, Reddit etc… this will help build your knowledge of the market you want to go into.
Autoresponder: This is where you collect emails to build your list, a lot of the emailers like Active Campaign have a CRM system built in as well
Website: A website! Then you can build a page to send people to collect emails, to create a blog, podcast etc…
Payment provider: You will need to an account with a payment provider to collect your payments, Stripe or Paypal are your best…
