Together with Jaclyn Ruli, Montessori educator and homeschooling supermom of six (or is it seven?!), I reflect on being a new mom and learning to choose worthwhile board books. We review some Montessorian principles about early childhood development and how they can help us think about what sort of books our children need. Jaclyn gives us encouragement to slow down and become more awake to our children in the moment. She encourages us not to "do more" but to go deeper. Here's to adventures in reading!
