Katie Noonan’s pure angelic voice makes her one of Australia’s most versatile and beloved vocalists.
A mother, singer, producer, songwriter, pianist and business woman, this ARIA award winning and platinum selling songstress, first received widespread praise as the angel-voiced songstress of indie-pop band George, and has since taken audiences on sublime excursions through Jazz, Pop and Classical music.
Named one of the greatest Australian singers of all time by the Herald Sun, Katie has performed by invitation for Australian and international Prime Ministers, members of the Royal Family and His Holiness The Dalai Lama, as well as across Australia, the USA, Canada, Europe and South East Asia.
With a buttery, velvet voice that can transform almost any song into a melodic lullaby or soothing soulful rendition, her 20 th album, 'The Sweetest Taboo' released this year, has given Katie’s listeners a taste of their younger years, with unique covers of iconic 1980s pop songs.
Get ready you’ll be dancing in your bedroom, hairbrush mic in hand to Katies renditions of classic Whitney, “I want to dance with somebody,,” transformed into a sultry, soulful sound, Or to her cover of Crowded Houses “Dont Dream it’s Over” - honestly one of the best versions I’ve heard.
Her grandfather was a singing clown, her grandmother and mother an opera singer and her father a jazz crooner who toured with Johnny O’keefe .. so music is in her veins.

Nominated for another ARIA Best Jazz Album, Katie said the nomination was just as special as the first time.
“The album has been in the ARIA Top Ten Jazz and Blue charts for over 20 weeks and it has only been out about that long,“ she said.
“So, it’s very special and just to be shortlisted for the award is incredible.
“You’ve already kind of won if you’ve been shortlisted because that means your peers think this record is in the top five of the year, which is extraordinary.“
