What I've Learnt - Susan Barton
Play • 30 mins

If there was ever a true living saint in this world, then her name would be Susan Barton.

Susan is the founder of the Lighthouse Foundation, a hub for the homeless and especially neglected and abused children.

With 6 Children of her own, Susan has still managed to foster hundreds of children, up to 20 a year, sheltering them from abuse, childhood marriage, domestic violence, and neglect.

When she runs out of space in her home, her and her husband renovate or add a room.

 Where there’s a way she’ll find it.

Running one of the most innovative progressive foster programs in the world, Susan and her team provide sanctuary - not just a house but a home.

We have so much to learn about love dedication and determination from this wonderful woman -

Thankyou Susan 🙏🏽🎤
