Teachers are great at finding ways to make learning exciting & relevant on a limited budget. Angela, Julie, & Lisa are 3 educators who decided to turn their STEM lessons built on fairy tales into a book to help educators.
Tinkering With Tales is all about helping educators learn to look for problems to solve in the books their kids are reading. Tinkering with Tales connects engaging STEM lessons with 12 classic fairy tales. Each chapter refers to an easily accessible story and provides a structured 5E STEM lesson aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards. The supplies and materials required for the investigations are readily available at little or no cost. STEM & literacy are perfect together!
