She and Christine talk about how to make tourism more valuable to local communities and the importance of lifting each other up.

Joanna is the Founder of Rooted Storytelling, an organization that documents and shares community-focused sustainable travel initiatives and helps others do the same. She is a returned peace corps volunteer and intrepid traveler currently located in Kiev, Ukraine.
