"I don't know what to do or what to say"
In this week's episode, I share my thoughts about the idea that we need to know how to do everything right before we take any kind of action. Specifically when it comes to being a privileged white person trying to be a good ally of the Black Lives Matter movement.
This idea is stopping a lot of people from doing anything at all, and that is not helping anyone. Why are we so unwilling to try and fail?
I want to encourage all of you who listen to this episode to open up to the idea that racism is everywhere and not just in the minds of "bad people". It's our responsibility to find it within ourselves and clean it up. To do that we need to be willing to acknowledge that it's there.
