"Now is our time to turn the corner on racism and communicators can be leaders in that" - Charlene Wheeless, Senior Advisor for Equity and Justice at APCO Worldwide talks with Licy Do Canto, Managing Director for Washington, DC Office at APCO Worldwide, about the role of corporate America in elevating the dialogue around Black History Month, in the wake of the Black Lives Matter movement, from acts of commemoration to a deeper emphasis on advocacy and transformation.

APCO Worldwide’s theme for Black History Month in 2021 is “Change Agents”. We’re looking at the emerging leaders, proactively changing the way America is, and is perceived – from representation to leadership and power dynamics.
