She was so close to completing her family, but life had other plans. 18 weeks and 6 days pregnant. The gestation Beka was with her second baby, when she knew something was wrong. She hadn’t felt movement in a few days and could not find his heartbeat on the Doppler anymore. It took her 3 more days to convince herself to call her doctor. At her appointment, the doctors confirmed what Beka had known all along: her baby had died earlier that week.
