Julie Moore is a certified trainer of the ASIST workshop for suicide first aid, presenter for SuivideTALK with LivingWorks, and a certified QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper instructor for the last 12 years. She started the Foundation of Hope with the mission to decrease the stigma of mental illness, educate the public about suicide prevention, and promote a culture of kindness and self-care. She is also a certified trainer for Leadership Plenty, which teaches leadership skills that enable graduates to confidently identify problems in their communities, and implement a plan of action to combat those problems. Julie is a Professional Life Coach currently working on her certification. She is from Murdo, SD, and works in Pierre at Avera St. Mary’s Foundation as a Suicide Prevention Training Coordinator and Data Specialist/Gift Processor.
