The Killer Who Hibernated in Alaska
Retirees Robert and Dagmar Linton eagerly embarked on a long-planned camping trip in the Pacific Northwest, and they promised their children they would be careful. The Lintons did not express concerns about their journey, but Dagmar made sure their wills and affairs were in order before they left home. Was she just cautious, or did she have a premonition something terrible would befall them? Her son and daughter would always wonder if their mother had concerns, and they would never know what exactly happened to their parents. Kenny Lake Sources Charles T. Sinclair. Murderpedia. Nose Job Murder: Shayna Hubers
#061 - On October 12th, 2012, 28-year old Ryan Poston, a successful attorney from Kentucky was found dead, shot 6 times in his condo. He’d been shot to death by his girlfriend Shayna Hubers. According to Shayna, she wasn't some sort of cold blooded killer. She said she shot him out of self-defense. It was either kill or be killed.  After a bizarre police interrogation, Shayna was arrested and charged with Ryan’s murder. At trial, it came down to whether you believed the prosecution’s star forensic expert, or the defense’s expert. It became a story known as the “Nose Job Murder”. A Jodi Arias Copycat. A murder that would be forever talked about. *Support My Work * If you love the show, the easiest way to show your support is by leaving us a positive rating with a review. Episode 72: Kimberly Louiselle
Kimberly Louiselle was last seen on March 20, 1982. After meeting with her boyfriend, he broke up with her. Unfortunately, Kimberly didn’t have a way home. Her boyfriend went to work and left her at his house. She would end up at a payphone trying to call a few friends for a ride home. When she didn’t come home on the 20th, her parents reported her missing the next day. Her body was found a little over three weeks later in a field that was within ten miles of her home. Kimberly was nude. Someone had beaten her, savagely raped her and then strangled her. It’s believed that her body had been dumped their within several days of being located. This meant is what likely that someone held her hostage for possibly the past three weeks. What’s even more disturbing is that there were two other young women who were also murdered around the same time as Kim. They were identified as Anna Marie Doroghazi and Christina Lynn Castiglione. All three homicides remain unsolved. It’s unknown if the killings are related. Law enforcement believes it possible a serial killer killed the young women. I spoke to Cindy Arthurs who discusses the death of her older sister Kimberly Louiselle and Detective Angela Hunt of the Michigan State Police. It’s been nearly 40 years since Kim was raped and murdered. She said there was DNA but was too disintegrated to use. However, she said there was DNA recovered from Christina Castiglione. Cindy said authorities haven’t matched the DNA to anyone. IF the murders of Christina and Kimberly are related, identifying Christina’s killer could lead to the person who killed Kimberly. Do you know what happened to Kimberly Louiselle? If you do, please contact Detective Angela Hunt of the Michigan State police at 810-227-1051.
