Dr. Alba Azola, MD is a rehabilitation physician and the co-director of the Johns Hopkins Post-Acute COVID-19 Team (PACT), in collaboration with the division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. PACT is a multidisciplinary clinic that offers comprehensive outpatient care and rehabilitation services for patients with post-COVID conditions, and it was established in April of 2020. Dr. Azola's expertise includes neurorehabilitation, management of autonomic dysfunction, rehabilitation for swallowing disorders, and post-COVID rehabilitation, and she’s one of a small group of physicians in the U.S. who are at the forefront of post-COVID research and treatment.
