We've all been there. The alarm goes off. We've committed to that exercise class. But ... we don't really feel like getting up. How do we balance the commitments that we make with ourselves with self-kindness? And how do we differentiate between simply not feeling like it (but doing it anyway) and truly needing to take a break?
That's what I'm exploring in this episode. Ironically, recording this episode was an exercise in this balancing act, as I had a headache while recording. Should I have recorded it? Or taken a break? I'll tell you why I chose the way I did in the episode.
