“Damn the Torpedoes” and Storm the Beach

“Damn the torpedoes” is a phrase used by Admiral David Farragut during the Battle of Mobile Bay. The statement, of course, was made in reference to the fierceness of the battle and Farragut’s determined refusal to retreat. The war for America’s health and destiny has reached its Normandy.
