Timbers Podcast Summit - Bill Trade, Kit Chat and 2023 Season Preview/Predictions
This week, Outer Roses teams up with Portland Vanity Soccer Podcast to do the first ever Timbers Podcast Summit. The group cracks a few drinks then dives into how the Bill Tuiloma trade shakes up the Timbers roster right before the season opener. After a bit of back and forth over if this is a good idea or not, the group moves onto talking about the Timbers new Portland Plaid kit. The group then goes through some of their best and worst kits in MLS this season, before diving into a quick team preview. Finally, each member makes 3 predictions going into the MLS season with shots on the line.

Season 4 - Episode 1 - Transfer Rumors, Depth Chart, Season Schedule
Happy New Year! The group gets back together to talk some updates with the Timbers. They first dive into the rumors around Eryk Williamson and if he will stay at the Timbers for the start of the season. It transitions into a conversation about the Young DP striker rumor and how we've missed on previous rumors mentioned surrounding the J League. After a bit of talk about strikers, the discussion starts around where our depth chart currently sits and where we might need additional depth. After a round table on depth, the group dives into the MLS Season schedule this year and talk a bit about some of the more interesting matchups this year. Finally, they wrap up talking about their Holiday Karaoke best starting 11 (or 9 I think is as far as they got) before wrapping up. Next pod will likely hold a preview for the preseason.

They start with a few memorial shots, then lean into their thoughts on the World Cup Final. After a quick World Cup chat, the group moves on to the Mora and McGraw's extensions, the Evander signing and some ongoing rumors surrounding transfer targets and Eryk Williamson. The group then jumps into the MLS Schedule and its interesting change in format this year (and rumors of the playoff format). Finally, they get on a tangent about the Killers and Iron Maiden. This week, we almost called this the sidetracked episode. Aaron, Matt and Scott start off talking about Williamson rumors and Evander; hoping that Eryk will not go to a Western Conference team. Once they get back on topic, they move on to talk about Ridgy joining the coaching staff and what that might mean for the team. After introducing Aaron to Malort, they then move on to Onward Rose City; and talk about what the strategy might look like of a community based ownership group. Following that discussion, they move onto Gio's Extension and what that might mean for the 2023 season. Things lead a bit to the discussion of what to do with our current DP situation and the rumors around Evander potentially joining the club. Finally, we wrap up with some talks about MLS playoff format and Tacos. There were questions from Twitter as well; they get answered throughout the episode.

Season 3 - Episode 24 - Interview with SCAN, RSL Recap and FO Update
This week, Scott starts off with an interview with Sofia over at SCAN (Soccer City Accountability Now). They talk about what SCAN is all about, how to get involved and what is coming up for future action. After the interview, Aaron, Matt and Scott talk about the Timbers missing out on the playoffs by losing to RSL 3-1 in the season finale. They transition into the news that Gavin and Mike have been fired, and what's next for the clubs future and what a sale of the club might look like. After discussing the issues surrounding the clubs being sold, they talk a bit more about what the offseason might look like and where our priorities should be with a limited front office. Finally, they chat a little about what you'll see on some offseason Outer Roses episodes.

Season 3 - Episode 23 - LAFC Recap, US Soccer Investigation, RSL Preview
This week, Aaron, Matt and Scott get together to recap the Timbers 2-1 loss against LAFC. They talk through some of the key points of the match and some specific player performances, and a little bit about the player selection for this game. They move onto the US Soccer Investigation and the Oregon Live article, and talk through what this means moving forward for both the Thorns and Timbers. Finally, they finish up talking about what the Timbers need to do against RSL to make the playoffs.

This week, Aaron and Scott get together to catch up on team news and what's going on with the team. They start off by taking a memorial shot for Dan Zusman (GoFundMe Link here); one of the nicest and most dedicated people to work for the Timbers and Thorns. After sharing a few memories, they jump into the Timbers 3-1 loss to Toronto FC and what that means for the remaining fixtures. Eventually they move on to an update on Mosquera and what we should expect this season from him, as well as talking about how Mora's injury will impact the team the rest of the season. After getting caught up on the medical staff for awhile, the guys jump into the OregonLive bombshell article that dropped this week talking about the disfunction and horrible workplace culture at the front office. Season 2 - Episode 24 - Aaron Makes Good on a Bet
This week, in a special Outer Roses episode, Aaron has to pay his dues on a bet he made earlier in the season. Throughout this episode, Aaron has to take a shot every 10 minutes as he bet the Timbers wouldn't finish in the top 4. The episode starts with a recap of the bet, then the guys talk about how the end of the season went down. They move onto a recap of some of the Squad Goals that were posted earlier in the season and give a quick update on the Front office. They finish off by reminiscing in the year of Dairon and talk about some special moments that earned him Supporters Player of the Year. Next week we'll give another FO update (if there is one) as well as previewing Minnesota for the playoffs.

This week Aaron, Matt, Richard and Scott talk about the Timbers 6-3 victory over the LA Galaxy and the 3-0 win over San Jose. Season 1 - Episode 24 - Outer Roses is Back and Dive Bar Deadpool Update

Season 1 - Episode 23 - MLS is Back Retrospective with Tom King
This week we have a special guest! Our MLS is Back Bracket challenge winner Tom King comes and joins Aaron, Matt, Richard and Scott to talk about our final thoughts on the tournament as a whole. Everyone's gets a chance to talk about what they thought the important take aways were from this tournament and if we will see this tournament again (and when/how that would work). Matt's Trivia corner returns with some fun facts around tournament testing and Valeri being the MLS legend that he is. We also talk about our biggest surprises, disappointments and find out how Tom picked his bracket.
