Sheriff Chris Swanson, Part 1
Recorded Friday, March 20, 2020 We had the honor of interviewing Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson late last week. In addition to being Sheriff, he is among the most energetic people we have ever met! Even in the midst of the County's response to the Coronavirus outbreak, he made time to connect with us, to talk about what the county is doing to ensure everyone's safety, as well as to share his inspiring personal story of being a self-described "fat kid" to becoming an Ironman. This "Part 1" of our interview with the Sheriff is focused entirely on his discussion of the county's response and his recommendations for us as citizens. While our conversation was recorded prior to Governor Whitmer's order for the State of Michigan's citizens to shelter in place, we believe the information is still helpful and his advice is still relevant. The topic and Sheriff Swanson's response are very serious. Still, you can't help but feel the infectious nature of his energy and charisma. Listen to this part for helpful information, and stay tuned for some inspiration in Part 2!
