Understanding Your Desires
What is it that you truly desire for your life? So many of us sometimes just settle and say, oh well these are the cards I was dealt. I believe, and it’s my belief that we have the ability to achieve that which we truly desire. We do that through taking small steps each day. Let’s talk about your desires. Oh wow, here she goes giving us more definitions. Hey, it’s just another way to look at things. Desires are simply a strong feeling of wanting to have something or wishing for something to happen and according to Professor Steven Reiss from Ohio State University, there are 16 basic desires that guide nearly all meaningful human behavior. The desires are: power, independence, curiosity, acceptance, order, saving, honor, idealism, social contact, family, status, vengeance, romance, eating, physical exercise, and tranquility.
