Welcome to the Built in Iowa Podcast!

On today's episode we have David Krohse, Owner Compass Chiro.

David is a Chiropractor in the Des Moines metro area.  David opened his office in 2008 with 135,000 in student loans and had no idea what he was doing to grow his business.  David turned the tide after he started to do lunch and learns with local companies to bring awareness to his clinic.  It worked very well for him and made his clinic sustainable.  After his experience with growing his clinic, he decided to start a side hustle, "20 calls per week", which is an online course that targets medical practice clinics to improve their marketing and grow their medical clinic.

David got interested in Chiropractor care after his brother was in a terrible car accident.  His brother had multiple surgeries and turned to Chiropractic care and it greatly improved his quality of life.  To get his clinic started, his parents co-signed a loan for him.  David moved to Des Moines with $245,000 in student loans and business loans.  David said Thanksgiving Dinner tasted much differently and would not recommend a new entrepreneur to leverage yourself as much as he did.
