#012 - Building people up by connecting 4000+ Black Professionals in 2 years with Lekan Olawoye

Lekan Olawoye is an exceptional leader, entrepreneur and community builder.
He is the CEO and founder of the Black  Professional in Tech Network (BPTN) and The TalentX.

In only 2 years, the BPTN has become a 4000-members organization and is expanding in the United States (Atlanta and New York).

I had the chance to meet Lekan at a BPTN event which happened in Montreal.
I then went to the BPTN summit #BFUTR in Toronto at the end of October 2019.

In this episode, you will learn about:

  • Lekan's mission to build people up
  • how the Black professional in tech network started
  • how is diversity in tech discussed with companies
  • Lekan's ambitions with the BPTN

For those of you who live in Canada, please take note of the 2 following BPTN event:

  • 12 February in Toronto
  • 27 February in Montreal

more details on it on www.bptn.ca
