True North is very proud to be the only Indigenous-owned company that  offers the services we do. True North is owned by Ken Braget (Birthname,  Callihoo). Ken is a very proud member of the Métis Nation of Alberta  and a direct descendant of, Michel Callihoo, Chief of the Michel First  Nation in the late 1800’s. Ken was adopted at the age of two and was  reunited with his Callihoo family at the age of 34. It was the reuniting  with his birth family that motivated Ken to appreciate and share his  proud heritage. True North has a 40% indigenous employment mandate and is very active in the local community.
