+++ Rock'n'Roll Family Business +++ Five siblings as a new metal phenomenon +++ Vampire image +++ First full album to be released on Halloween +++
In this episode I introduce you to one of the hottest new heavy metal acts on this planet: LILIAC, five siblings aged 12 to 21 who rock out together quite a bit. I noticed them well over a year ago when I saw their cover versions of various classics such as “Enter Sandman”, “Crazy Train”, “The Trooper” or “Rainbow in The Dark” on YouTube, which have received several million views - per song! Singer Melody is especially awesome, with her amazing voice she sang many metal queens under the table when she was 15/16.
The extraordinary fact is that the band works completely independent: the kids rock, Mama does the merchandise and Papa LILIAC produces the band and is the head of this family business. I think something bigger is growing up there!
