#12: How to hack your brain and why entrepreneurs need this - With Dipti Tait

This week we’re talking about a topic that I would like to highlight as very important for entrepreneurs to get a grasp on, mental illness and mental performance. Let me just highlight why this is important.

Entrepreneurs are:

Twice as likely to suffer from depression, psychiatric hospitalization and suicidal thoughts

3X more likely to suffer from substance abuse

10X more likely to suffer from bipolar disorder

Now with stats like these the least, I can do is help break down the barrier to allow fellow entrepreneurs to talk. Business is hard, often requiring long hours and lonely days, and entrepreneurs absorb an incredible amount of stress.

You will have already heard about Mindfulness which is one tool in the battle against mental illness but there is another, Hypnotherapy. So this episode, my Hypnotherapist Dipti Tait, has kindly agreed to help us understand how we can hack our brains and give us the mental resilience to succeed. Dipti has been featured in the media including the BBC and This Morning talking about such.
