Meet Sopan Deb!
We celebrate Sopan's numerous achievements and accomplishments as a sports writer for The New York Times, a political journalist covering the 2016 Presidential campaign, and an author.
We support his latest work Missed Translations: Meeting The Immigrant Parents Who Raised Me, a beautifully written story of his journey to find answers about his parents and about himself.
We are inspired by his decision to seek answers by asking challenging questions and to share the story with the world, letting so many fellow immigrant children that it's okay to ask.
Sopan Deb is a basketball writer and a contributor to the culture section for The New York Times. Before joining The Times, he covered Donald J. Trump's presidential campaign for CBS News. He is also a New York-city based comedian. He is the author of the memoir "Missed Translations: Meeting The Immigrant Parents Who Raised Me."
