How Structure Has Provided More Freedom in My Business
Play • 10 min

When I left corporate I couldn't wait to leave the structure behind, but those early days and months of not having it were hard on my business.

Like most of the Midlife CEOs I work with who've had jobs and careers prior to starting their business, structure was typically built into their day.

More freedom is a benefit to working for yourself, and while exciting to have it when you haven't had it before it can be hard to know what to focus on as your business grows.

Some model what they used to do in their job and find a rhythm immediately, but then find themselves focusing on the things that aren't supporting business growth.

And others have no idea what to focus on and find that having the freedom allows them to fill their time with anything or nothing if they choose.

Today I talk about what I went through to develop more structure in each stage of business. How I lacked it initially and how I made some mistakes that I wouldn't make today.

I also talk about some things I've changed more recently that have provided even more structure to allow for more creativity and more self-care - because we all know Midlife CEOs need more time to take care of our bodies and beings.

No matter if you're in the growth, expansion, or scaling stage of growing your coaching or service-based business, take a listen to this episode to see if you can find a little more structure to your business to support your next phase of growth.
