Murdering Marilyn Monroe: The Kennedy Conspiracy Theory (Part 3)
In Part 3 of this Marilyn Monroe deep-dive murder investigation, we start with the iconic event of JFK's 45th birthday celebration at Madison Square Garden. Headlined by Marilyn herself with the now infamous and iconic renditions of the happy birthday song.
After this, we look at the deteriorating relationship between Monroe and the Kennedy brothers, the possibility of a secret abortion, and the debauched weekend at Sinatra's club and casino.
We then review the standard version of events in Monroe's last day of life and see what mainstream historians say about her final days.

Murdering Marilyn Monroe: The Kennedy Conspiracy Theory (Part 2)
In Part 2 of this Marilyn Monroe deep dive mystery saga, we begin with a surprise visit from Soviet Premier Nikita Kruschev.
And as we move along we learn more about JFK's rise to the presidency, his battle with Addison's disease, and his string-along games with Monroe and their trysts.
We also look at Marilyn's stint in a mental institution with her escalating drug habits that were seemingly incapable of being broken.
And we also meet some new characters that will be invaluable participants in Monroe's ultimate demise: Hollywood PI Fred Otash, Marilyn's late-arriving housekeeper Eunice Murray, and an introduction to the shadiness of Dr. Greenson.

Murdering Marilyn Monroe: The Kennedy Conspiracy Theory (Part 1)
How did Marilyn Monroe actually die? Was it an intentional suicide? Accidental overdose? Or was it criminal homicide?
In this first installment of our investigation into the death of the Hollywood icon, we will look at Los Angeles in the 1950s, the shady characters that Monroe surrounded herself with, and the slew of influences affecting her life.
This includes abusive husbands, an escalating drug addiction, a party girl lifestyle, and sexual relationships with some of the world's most important men. This included JFK, Frank Sinatra, Joe Dimaggio, Sam Giancana, Arthur Miller, and most importantly RFK.
Needless to say, Marilyn's official death narrative has many loose ends. Part 1 of this 'Smoke Filled Rooms' miniseries will lay down the groundwork for our analysis and introduce us to the central people crucial to discovering the answers.

The Nuremberg Trials (Part 7 of 7)
In this finale of our Nuremberg Trials series, we hear the verdicts and punishments handed down to the Nazi defendants.
Which would be sent to the hangman and for what reasons? Would Goering finally face justice for his crimes? Would Hess be excused for mental health issues? Would Kaltenbrunner pay the price for his SS rank? And would Streicher face the gallows for his writings?
Before we hear the details about the hangings, that were held within the confines of the Palace of Justice itself, we learn of US Army Hangman Woods. He was the chief executioner at Nuremberg and we take a glimpse into his life leading up to that fateful October night in 1946.
Then we conclude with the hangings themselves.
Thank you for joining us on this journey through one of the preeminent political true-crime stories ever occurring.
I am currently working on a mini-series about the overthrow of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi during the Arab Spring of 2011. But who will be revealed to the criminals in that instance? Gaddafi, the Rebels, or the US-led coalition aiding the rebels? All of them? We will untangle these messy knots in our true crime fashion as we search for truth and justice in a corrupt political realm.

The Nuremberg Trials (Part 6 of 7)
In Episode #6 of this Nuremberg Trial series, we take a close look at the Nazi's defendant's final statements.
Each of the highest-ranking men of the Third Reich had one last chance to make a statement to the Tribunal judges. Some chose a steely bravado, some attempted to justify their actions, and some made indirect pleas for mercy.
After this ended formal proceedings for the prosecution and defense, the IMT entered their deliberations period. We get a peek behind the curtain as we learn about how and why they chose the sentences and verdicts as they did.
After the judges finished their months-long deliberation period, they returned to the court and released their findings to the world.

The Nuremberg Trials (Part 5 of 7)
In part #5 of this Nuremberg Trial series, we begin by examining the Allied delegations prosecution case against the Nazi organizations. This involved the SA, the Political Corps, the Gestapo, and of course, the blood-soaked legacy of the SS. Gory details abound as the calculated German crimes against peace and humanity are revealed for the world to hear.
After the cases both for and against the Nazi organizations were made, we move along to the powerful closing remarks of the American, Soviet, British and French delegations.
These speeches are historical poetry and should be read in full to understand the full scope of emotion they encapsulated. They embodied not only the demand for justice, but uniquely wove their own political ideologies and war experiences into the statements.

The Nuremberg Trials (Part 4 of 7)
In Episode #4 of this Nuremberg trial series, we begin by looking at the curious defense case of SS Intelligence Chief, and Obergruppenfuhrer, Ernst Kaltenbrunner. He had been at the forefront of planning and executing the Holocaust under direct orders from Heinrich Himmler (and was the top-ranking SS man to be seated in the defendant's dock for these trials). Would Kaltenbrunner's guilt be firmly established by his own testimony and witnesses?
We also hear the chilling and disturbing personal testimony from Auschwitz Camp Commandant Hoess as he coldly explains the crimes he perpetrated against humanity in the camps. Including the willful slaughter of women in children in the gas chambers of his camp.
Additionally, this episode gives a great overlay of the defense cases for Foreign Minister Von Ribbentrop, party philosopher Rosenberg, propagandist Julius Streicher, Navymen Karl Donitz and Erich Raedar, General Alfred Jodl, Minister Albert Speer, and Reichminister Arthur Seyss Inquart.

The Nuremberg Trials (Part 3 of 7)
Episode #3 of this Nuremberg Trial series, we begin by looking at the fractured alliance between the Western victors of WWII and their Soviet partners. Would the emerging Cold War against communism disrupt the proceedings against the Nazis defendants?
Meanwhile, the case against Reichsmarshall Herman Goering (2nd in command to Hitler) continued to be pressed. Convicting him was a primary goal of the tribunal because without his guilt there would be precious little to hold the other Nazis accountable.
This episode focuses largely on the Goering defense case and the allied cross-examination.
In what would be viewed as the heavyweight legal match of the immediate post-war world, Goering sat in the witness box while facing his intellectual and ideological enemy...American lead prosecutor Jackson.
The Goering portion of the trial reveals the layers of cunning and evil from atop the Third Reich and should be understood for what they were: The highest living Nazi in custody revelling in the glory days of Hitler's Germany and the ideological commitment he had to the regime throughout his life

The Nuremberg Trials (Part 2 of 7)
Episode #2 of this Nuremberg Trial mini-series examines the prosecution cases against the Nazi defendants.
After being formally charged for Crimes Against Humanity and War Crimes, the American, British and French delegations introduced evidence to the proceedings and call their first witnesses to the stand. Would they disavow Hitler or remain steadfast in their allegiance to Nazism?
The evidence submitted to the IMT included the first revealed videos of the Holocaust (as referenced in the podcast).
The brutal crimes of Hermann Goering, Ernst Kaltenbrunner, Alfred Jodl, and Albert Speer would be laid bare for the world to witness. Additionally, the opening speeches of the French and British delegations would be presented to the courtroom.

The Nuremberg Trials (Part 1 of 7)
Episode #1 of this Nuremberg Trial series sets the stage for our deep dive into the most important international trial in human history. The Allied victors of World War II set up an International Military Tribunal to prosecute Hitler's Nazi henchmen for their heinous crimes.
We will first examine the historical background of the trial, the primary figures involved, profiles on Chief Prosecutor Jackson (USA) and Reichsmarshall Goering (Nazi Germany), the charges laid against the Nazi defendants, the commencement of the proceedings, and the American Delegation's opening remarks (which should be read fully here as referenced in the episode).
