I have been reading the “29 Gifts” by Cami Walker. I found this book when I read my favorite book “You Are A Badass” by Jen Scincero. The 29 gifts book is about Cami who just got married and has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Cami is in excruciating pain and incredible frustrated with her life and the cards she has been dealt. She talks to one of her spiritual teachers who suggests she give away one gift for 29 days. The rules are simple…each day give thought to what one gift you want to give. It can be any type of gift…could be money, could be calling on a friend, holding a door open, just listening to someone...it doesn’t matter as long as it is given freely meaning you do not expect anything in return and if you miss a day you have to start over at Day 1.
I am not even done reading this book and the idea keeps calling to me! So, I am all in on this!
