Ep 8: Debating the Green New Deal
Play • 56 min

In our latest Ep 8 to end our first series, the pals take a look at both sides of the SANE arguments concerning the Green New Deal. The green new deal is a non-binding resolution for tackling climate change at the federal level. The idea of a Green New Deal first arose at the time of the 2007-2008 financial crisis in the US and the UK. The current version is the brainchild of  Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York and Senator Edward J. Markey of Massachusetts.
