Power and privilege can be difficult conversations, but they’re necessary ones. Dr. Ericka Roland, Theta Lambda–University of West Florida, discusses how these affect our everyday lives, and how we can rethink our roles within them to create social change. 

Dr. Ericka Roland is an assistant professor of practice in the higher education leadership program at the University of Texas Austin. She holds a doctorate in educational leadership from the University of South Florida, a master's degree in college student personnel from the University of Tennessee, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of West Florida.
