Play • 36 min

The apostle Paul was quick to both acknowledge and reflect upon the troubles of life which came his way in serving the Lord Jesus Christ. Especially in II Corinthians, Paul is focused upon the messiness of life and the faithfulness of God to sustain His children through all manner of troubles and challenges.

Our textual passage in II Cor. 4:16-18 is a representative capsule of truth addressed to Christians about how to face life's difficulties. We were told by Jesus to expect them (John 16:33 “ this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world”). This lesson outlines how God works through the various dimensions of our life to keep us spiritually strong and fruitful!
