"You're lessening what I've experienced, because you don't see a bruise or a scar."   Mookie the Magnificent, that she is, an Activist, a Writer, a Survivor and a Mom - has been expanding conversations and stories about Black History and her Community's fight against White Supremacy online for over a year. We got together to talk about the Survivorship and Struggle Black Women go through when they face Domestic Violence. From her own story to the ignorance of media coverage to societal standards, protectionism over abusers and non-physical violence v. emotional and psychological violence, we grapple with how to make Black Women's stories visible and the Resources obtainable.
