What the heck are macros?
My goal here is to break it down for a ya little!
Macros are just a different way to track your food. It's different than just calorie counting.
Macros are the Macronutrients in your food.
We are talking:
Our body needs ALL of these for different reasons.
Fats keep our lady hormones and hunger hormones balanced. (starved all the time? You may not be eating enough fat)
Carbs are the bodies natural energy source (drained all the time? You may not be getting enough carbs or eating too few calories)
Protein keeps you from losing muscle. Muscles burns fat faster and keeps osteoporosis at bay.
Every body is different, and tracking your macros helps you determine what works best for your body.
Macros done right make weight loss and maintenance easier because you are fueling your body with the nutrients it needs to be healthy.
