I am joined by Economist and Political Analyst Anthony Coates where we critique the "affordable housing" initiative by the Hochul Administration.
New York Governor Kathy Hochul is under fire after proposing 800,000 new "affordable" housing units be added up to 1.5 miles from every train station on Long Island.
We cover the reasons such housing would be unaffordable to the people it claims to aid, the lack of supporting infrastructure, and the lack of awareness of Long Island's cultural and social needs.

Episode 214: Roe v. Wade After 50 Years
I discuss the recent Women's Marches that occurred Nationally in response to the overturn of Roe v. Wade in what would have been its 50th Anniversary.
Normally I would take the opportunity to decry Liberal Feminism in favor of Marxist Feminism, however I give a brief statement on why this was an important event and issue calls for unity on the issue of Codifying Roe Federally.
What prompted me to make this episode was seeing other non abortion related issues brought into the pro-choice struggle. This has the potential to alienate huge segments of the population from uniting around a woman's right to choose.

Episode 207: George Santos' Fake Resume
It has been conclusively reported that George Santos' Resume was fraudulent. Claiming he worked at Goldman Sachs and Graduated from Harvard alongside other ridiculous claims.
This has prompted anger and questions of what should be done on both sides of the aisle. In this episode I focus on critiquing the Democratic Party response of shifting blame and refusing to acknowledge the real reasons why they lost.
While I do acknowledge the failure of the Republican Party to sponsor someone with a credible resume, I rag on the Democrats with this one. I am dissapointed in their consistent abandonment of the Working Class, using gaslighting as a tactic and their condescension to differing opinions.

Episode 206: Against Assisted Suicide
I make the case for why Canada's Assisted Suicide Program is tyranny masked as individual choice. The Canadian model for Euthanasia is incredibly broad. It allows the homeless, disabled, sick, elderly, and soon the mentally ill to ask their doctors to be Euthanized.
I explain why this is tyrannical by making comparisons to the Eugenics movement of the 1920's in America, Great Britain, Nazi German and Imperial Japan.
I also express my fears for the devasting impact such a law would have in America by using contemporary examples from the American Culture War and other controversial events.

Dr. Evan Howard Ashford has published Mississippi Zion, a book focusing on Attala County from 1865-1915. The purpose of his book is to challenge the narrative of Black history in America. The narrative in question being one where Black people are constantly oppressed and constantly struggling. T
his book instead focuses on Black people embracing their rights as freed American citizens and shows not just the bad, but the good as well. It shows how black farmers, shop keepers, teachers and scholars rose so quickly. And shows how this rapid success led to jealous and fearful reprisals.

Van Life is a trendy way to be homeless without the inconveniences of freezing or overheating to death. I talk about the cool aspects of Van Life, such as the craftsmanship and freedom. However, I also address the emerging view that van life and tiny homes are a "solution" to the housing crisis. This lifestyle is not a solution, rather it is just that. A lifestyle. Many cannot afford the money to invest in a high tech van or tiny home, nor have a career that enables working from home or on the road.

Elon Musk purchases Twitter for over 40 Billion Dollars on April 25th 2022. The Left decries this as an end to their safe space, the Right celebrates this as a victory for Free Speech, but as your local Marxist I vehemently disagree. Unless Musk eliminates the algorithm that prioritizes echo chambers then we will not have free speech. To have free speech, we must have all opinions interact with each other daily to breed healthy discussion and debate. This constant challenge to ideas is what builds positive discourse and refines positions. This is simply a moralistic outcry to get investment capital and to cater to an audience. He wants everyone to be included on Twitter, that way he can get everyone's money.

Whoopi Goldberg was suspended from "The View" around the same time Joe Rogan had encountered a decimating hate storm over his COVID themed episodes. I discuss both of these events and how cancelling people does not do anything but drive people to either the extreme left or right.
I also give historical background on the Holocaust, American Views on Race, the politics of Germany, and Nazi Race Science to explain what motivated her comments and why they do not merit her getting suspended.
A key take away I got after recording this episode was: "How do we have free and open discussions about controversial topics, and how do we determine what is the truth?"

Joe Rogan is being criticized for spreading "inaccurate" information by the White House and Legacy Media Companies. I discuss how any decision effecting Mr. Rogan will effect thousands of other podcasters and content creators. I also play three videos. One of Jen Psaki agreeing more must be done to combat misinformation, A second one of Mr. Rogan speaking about the incident, and a Third of The Independent attacking Mr. Rogan with a mashup of 0:46 Seconds of his episodes and the reaction video. This third video paints Mr. Rogan like a liar and obscures the real material. This creates the misinformation that they accuse Mr. Rogan of creating.

Episode 163: Consumption and "Fitness"
I look at what is considered fitness is our society from a Marxist lens. In doing so I compare what Fitness actually is; functionality, and health. But I look at what is considered "fitness" in wider society which is vanity and excess. In a socialized society, gyms would be collectively owned where classes, membership, and trainers would not be blocked by monetary blocks. This would create an informed public in regards to basic body function, and increased standards of true fitness.

Episode 161: Detaining COVID Patients?
NYS Assembly Bill A416, and its previous versions, entail detaining segments of the population that have come in contact or carry a pandemic like infectious disease.
Versions of this bill have attempted to make it to the floor of the State Assembly since 2015. The bill goes into vague detail about where positive cases would be detained and for how long.
I explain why the constant division of workers will make something like this possible. I also urge people to abandon focus on the culture war. "Cancelling" someone based on their views on racism in America, vaccination status, and masking habits is counter productive to class unity. Class unity is the only way to ensure that we can eliminate racism, and pandemic mismanagement.

Over 169 strikes have taken place this month across all American industries. We also see a record number of first responders, medical workers, and other working class people leaving their jobs in protest of the vaccine mandate. Episode 146: CIA Funding the Progressives
The CIA, and before them the FBI, have been funding the various formations of Progressive thought and movements in the United States, Europe and Latin America for over 100 years.
The aim of this is to make anti-communist socialists. The ultimate goal of this was to make sure the communist movement, and in the 1960's the New Left, became fragmented and powerless.
They achieved this by using Anarchist principles of anti-authoritarianism and individual action of achieving socialism to weaken these mass movements. The Communist Movement and the New Left focused on mobilizing the entire nation with a strict chain of command to lead actions and elections. Both deteriorated by the influence of FBI/CIA sponsored individualism and hyper criticism of chains of commands within these movements.
In this episode I show evidence that exposes the connection between government intervention in the thought and movements of the people.

Episdode 145: Long Island: Striketober & Far-Right Activity
Long Island is feeling the labor wave caused by "Striketober" the month of strikes across various American Industries. UFCW 2013 is currently on strike against poor working conditions at Quality King's Bellport Warehouse.
Our communities across Long Island are also feeling the brunt of political development, and antagonization by the Far-Right. Saturday October 16th saw the Proud Boys, a National Chauvinist/Fascist group, march through Patchogue at peak drinking hours. The next day, Sunday October 17th, saw the annual Long Island Loud Majority caravan back up traffic for miles on 27 East from Seaford LIRR station to Montauk. In this episode I talk about how to fight fascism by helping your neighbor, and uniting through labor and national duty.

Episode 142: IATSE Strike Authorization/Texas Abortion Law SB8
The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) have voted almost unanimously to enact a Strike Authorization. Over 98% of the 89% of voters voted YES to Strike Authorization. This means if the Alliance of Motion Pictures and Television Producers (AMPTP) fails to come to an agreement with IATSE, then a strike will be underway and all production of television and movies will cease.
SB8, the controversial Texas Abortion Law was sent back to Federal Court this past weekend. US District Judge Robert Pitman is questioning wether the Deputization of private citizens is a proxy for the state to enforce this law. This would violate Roe v. Wade. Over 600 protests around the country took place this weekend to demand an overturn of this law. Women in Texas have been forced to carry pregnancies to term, or flee to neighboring states for care. This has led to their abortion clinics being overrun.

In this episode I cover additional union led strike waves that have occurred in all major areas of the American economy. This episode focuses on Starbucks workers in Buffalo, NY organizing for higher pay, in conjunction with food service workers in general fighting for better conditions. The deaths of 678,000 Americans, inflation, and a lag in production. These factors have made workers have more power due to their smaller numbers and lack of people wanting to return to work for low compensation. Thus making workers more valuable.

Episode 139: IATSE & UFW STRIKES!
The International Alliance of Stage and Theatrical Stage Employees is voting on "Strike Authorization", the process for formally striking union wide, from October 1st through the 3rd. They are fighting for an end of "Fraturdays", a schedule of being worked 14-18 hours ending the shift on Sunday morning. They are also fighting for an end to 14-18 hour shifts throughout the work week as this has resulted in numerous deaths, car accidents, and workplace accidents/illnesses.
The United Farm Workers are going on strike in opposition to California Governor Gavin Newsom's (D) veto of AB-616. This bill would have given UFW members and other Agricultural Unions the ability to vote in union elections via mail in ballot. Sharp criticism emerged against Newsom, who allowed mail in ballots for his recall election, but not for union elections.

Nassau County Executive Laura Curran has vetoed the Police Class Protection legislation. This bill passed the County Legislature 12 to 6 and would give Police a wide range for legal retribution against protestors. This came with the strong advice by the Attorney General of New York after concerns of First Amendment violations would soon occur after the passage of such a document. I speak about how this is a victory for working people and respond to the critiques of the veto.

Episode 121: The Internet Is Weird Dude
The internet has become an addictive, habit forming, and privacy destructive place. I realized I needed to talk about this after reading Caitlin Flanagan's article in The Atlantic about her Twitter addiction. I agreed that I too have fallen victim to Twitter and Social Media in general. Especially her conclusions about it being harmful to her attention span, which I linked to the push for shorter length of content. I also linked the rise of political divisions to social media and its algorithmically created echo chambers, used solely for marketing purposes. We are killing our nation for someone else's profit!

I then talk about Memorial Day's History. How the first one was held May 1st 1865 by newly freed slaves and Black Regimental Veterans. The celebration became national on May 5th 1868 organized by the Great Army of the Republic. SUNY Oneonta's COVID response was disappointing. Instead of taking responsibility, they shifted blame exclusively to the student body. This, coupled with Mayor Gary Herzig creating anxiety over the return of the student body, has resulted in open ended hostility and discrimination towards students.
