Unification III
This week, Dan, Bill, Sara AND surprise guest Kasey look at the seventh episode of Star Trek: Discovery Season 3, "Unification III". The USS Discovery heads to the planet Ni'Var - formerly known as Vulcan - in an effort to gather crucial information regarding The Burn. Burnham discovers that her brother was influential in reunifying the Romulan and Vulcan people who now live together on the planet. In order to get the data she needs, Michael must go through an ancient ritual and gets assistance from a member of the Romulan Qowat Milat - and that person is NOT someone she expected to see! Meanwhile, on Discovery, Captain Saru requests that Ensign Tilly become his Acting First Officer. Not having completed the command program and realizing she is still an ensign, she is not sure how to proceed. She seeks the advice of Stamets and gets an unexpected reaction from the rest of the Senior Staff. Will Michael succeed in her quest to obtain the Burn data? Will Gabrielle Burnham throw the entire proceedings into chaos? Will Tilly decide to take the grand leap pf becoming First Officer of a Federation starship? We hope you'll join us for a great discussion on Discovering Trek! FIVE YEAR MISSION Music for Discovering Trek is provided by Five Year Mission.
