Intimista mas também expressivo e até alegre, o álbum de estreia dos Wilderado, intitulado com o nome do grupo, era um dos grandes objectivos do grupo de Tulsa, Oklahoma, que desde 2016 têm alguns registos discográficos de duração menor.
O álbum reflecte também o que os músicos do grupo, a residir em Los Angeles, viveram até chegar à gravação de Wilderado.

Intimate but also very expressive and happy, the debut album by Wilderado, named after the band, was one of the main intentions of the Tulsa, Oklahoma group, that have been releasing songs and e.p. since 2016.
The album also reflects what the musicians, living in Los Angeles, lives until the recording of Wilderado.
This week's episode opens with the moment Na Mira do Cowboy Cantor (On the Sight of Cowboy Cantor). We return to Nuno Cabral, a musician from São Miguel island, and his song released on the 18th of March, Last Memory.

Como se apresenta um álbum que apresenta-se a si próprio? Um álbum que não precisa de explicações, porque cada palavra e cada ideia que se acrescenta à audição, serão sempre desnecessárias.
The Cherries are Speaking, sexto álbum de Dan Knishkowy enquanto Adeline Hotel, tem andado guardado na lista de futuras edições do Cowboy Cantor, porque não sabia como haveria de falar deste álbum. Repito, é um álbum que não precisa de explicações prévias.
Podemos referir que The Cerries are Speaking é um álbum muito simples, no entanto o mais complexo no que diz respeito a arranjos por parte do músico de Brooklyn. Mas é completamente desnecessária esta informação.
The Cherries Are Speaking começa, vai entrando e quando damos por nós, já estamos a ouvir a repetição do álbum, caso estejamos a ouvir em formato digital. No entanto, existe a versão em disco compacto e vinil.

How do you introduce an album that has the ability to introduce itself? An album that doesn't need any previous approach, any word or idea added to it's listening, will always sound unnecessary.
The Cherries Are Speaking, sixth album by Dan Knishkowy as Adeline Hotel, has been on the waiting list for future editions of Cowboy Cantor, because I didn't know how to talk about it. I recall, this album doesn't need any previous explanations.
One could at least say The Cherries Are Speaking is a very simple album, yet the most complex by the Brooklyn based musician. But again, this is a useless information.
The Cherries Are Speaking starts, goes in and when you notice, you are already listening to the repeat of the album. It is available as streaming, mp3 download, c.d. or vinyl.

Desde meados de 2020 que sigo os Plastic Estate, de Cardiff, aguardando ansiosamente, mas calmamente, a edição do seu primeiro longa duração.
O álbum de estreia vem tem o nome do grupo e é uma viagem aos sons dançáveis da electrónica dos anos 80. Sendo abertamente admiradores de Dave Grahan, Ian McCullock ou Bryan Ferry, Plastic Estate varia entre canções melancólicas, talvez até tristes ou obscuras, e canções mais alegres, que de forma muito natural começaremos a dançar. Na realidade, outros nomes vêm-nos à memória, sendo para mim Joy Division ou New Order os mais imediatos.
Apesar de um claro revivalismo presente nas canções de Plastic Estate, a verdade é que o grupo liderado por Nicholas James e Stanley Fouracres revela também um sentido de actualidade, misturando sonoridades associadas a canções e artistas do presente, tal como Future Islands.
Disponível em formato digital e vinil, o primeiro álbum dos Plastic Estate está a rodar com muita intensidade por cá. Ouçam-no por completo, dancem-no, guardem-no. Fiquem com ele.

Since mid 2020 I have been following Plastic Estate., from Cardiff, waiting anxiously, but calm, the release of their first full length album.
Their first album has the name of the band and it is a travel back to the electronic dance sounds of the eighties. With Dave Grahan, Ian McCullock or Bryan Ferry on the sight, Plastic Estate goes from melancholic, even sad or dark songs, to more happy songs, that you will naturally start to dance. In fact, other names come to my mind, like Joy Division or New Order.
Despite their revivalism, Nicholas James and Stanley Fouracres, and the rest of the band, will bring some of today’s sounds that one may associate to names like Future Islands.
Available on streaming services or vinyl, Plastic Estate is on heavy rotation on my side. Listen to it, dance it, save it. Keep it.
