Recently, the CEO and President of Visit Carlsbad, Kim Sidoriak, joined Bret Schanzenbach on the Carlsbad People, Purpose, and Impact Podcast. Before she became the President and CEO of Visit Carlsbad, Kim began at Saatchi and Saatchi Advertising in Santa Monica, where she worked in marketing for leading automotive brands, like Toyota. However, after a while, she recognized that she wasn’t impassioned by cars, so she set out to engage in her true passion: traveling.
This passion led Kim to market for companies such as Santa Monica Travel and Tourism and the Hilton Hotels Corporation. Now, she is thrilled to be part of the Carlsbad family and help create opportunities for the city, the residents, and the companies to thrive through tourism.
