On this episode we are all about the peat! That lovely campfire taste made its way into each peated Scotch that we tasted through on the show and we learned so much about the organic bog material that characterizes a large portion of Scotland’s exported whiskeys. To help us out today we had William Lipp of Alexander Murray & Co. an independent bottler that is doing unique barrel aging on classic scotch. We tasted our way through some truly special peated scotches including an Alexander Murray bottling you can’t find from the Laphroaig itself. And of course, we give you all of our notes and feedback during the tasting.
