Your Only Disability is a Bad Mindset with Nick Santonastasso

Nick was born with Hanhart syndrome, a rare birth defect that left him with no legs, an undeveloped right arm, and a left arm with one finger. Doctors told his parents that his mobility would be limited. Little did they know, he'd end up becoming a body builder and never falling victim to circumstance.
"I view myself as a lantern, I want to give light to people who are in a dark place. I have to fill myself up with things I love in order to be able to give to others." After being released from the San Francisco Giants, Devan began his life's work as a Certified Personal Trainer. In 2014, he and his wife, Morgan, made it their mission to help women all across the country improve their health and wellness by starting Burn Boot Camp.
Devan began with dumbbells in a parking lot and turned Burn Boot Camp into a thriving $80 million fitness franchise (and counting)!
Now Devan is a CEO, a nationally recognized personal trainer, an author, public speaker, and proud parent. He's here to tell his story.

Please welcome Sally Andersen from Burn Boot Camp Exton, PA! Sally is a fantastic trainer, such a dynamic person, and quite the powerlifter! She shares with us her story and how she's landed where she is today!
Sally talks about being the kid who always wanted to play sports but never quite got it. Sally put in all the work but never was able to "succeed." After going to college, Sally talks about spiraling through 8 medications, depression, anxiety, binge drinking, and more.
At 25, Sally hit a turning point. She realized that it was time to change. After a .2 mile run, she simply started to make gradual changes every day. Sally was frustrated that no one ever told her that this is all she needed to do to be in shape. And, from that point on, Sally decided she wanted to make sure no one felt the way she did.

Audacious Goals and Big Ass Dreams with Devan Kline
What do Arnold Schwarzenegger, Oprah Winfrey, you and I have in common? WE CAN ALL OVERCOME OUR PAST, and some of us have.
Today, I urge you to remember this: Your past does not define you. I've experienced a lot of trauma, mostly throughout my childhood and teen years.
At 32 years old, I can see that my past, those negative experiences do not define me. Instead, they drive me to be the person I am today.

Why I Don't Believe Life Is Too Short with Devan Kline
When you work as a personal trainer you hear lots of reasons for why people aren't making their health a priority. One of the most common? Life is too short.
Well, I'm sharing with you today why I don't subscribe to that mentality. Life is meant to be long and, more importantly, life is meant to be maximized. Most of us probably have decades ahead of us, so we're fooling ourselves by living out this excuse.
We only get this one body and this one life. Why don't we want to take care of that body as well as we can? It comes down to how are we framing the foundation in which we take care of ourselves. Our lifestyle choices predicate what type of life we're going to live. The choices we make dictate our quality of life.
My question to you is this: are you going to perceive life as long or short?
I promise you that once you start reflecting on where you've been, where you are, and where you want to be it's amazing how long life actually starts to feel.

Here's something most people wouldn't assume about me: I eat junk food. You might be thinking that's a strange thing for the CEO of a fitness franchise to admit, but hey, it's the truth. Today, I'm sharing why I eat junk food and why I don't plan to stop.
For me, I've found that my pathway to health can include some indulgences. Instead of obsessing over what we're eating, we can instead become more intuitive about how we feel. Every morning take an audit of how you feel, how you look, and what your energy level. Intuitive Eating is us A / B testing every day to see what works best for our body.
It's pretty simple: eat what you want, and if you wake up the next day and you feel worse, then adjust. But, the key is that we have to be willing to change when our body communicates back with us.
