Christmas is a reminder to us that in even the darkest of times, the reality of Jesus is GOOD News that Brings GREAT JOY. After the year(s) we’ve had, be it personally or globally it seems we have been receiving a slew of bad news. Sometimes we need to be reminded of the Good News that Jesus brings.

The Good News of Rest - Hebrews 4:9-12 - Grant Hickman
A Sabbath rest remains for the people of God. For the one who enters God’s rest has also rested from his works, just as God did from his own works. Thus we must make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by following the same pattern of disobedience. For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any double-edged sword, piercing even to the point of dividing soul from spirit, and joints from marrow; it is able to judge the desires and thoughts of the heart.
Make every effort to rest.
Sabbath is a reminder that we live in two worlds - this world and the world that is yet to come. When we sabbath, we find joy, holiness, and rest.
Let’s rest together in God, our Creator, and His Word.
