EP155: The #1 Secret to Overcoming Self-Sabotage in Dating, Relationships & Business Featuring Ben Owen
In this week's episode, I am joined by Ben Owen, men's coach.
Ben was an elite track athlete from the age of 13 and has worked with some of the best coaches in the UK. He has been surrounded by great men and coaches who were significant people in his life.
They were great figureheads and part of how Ben created discipline and structure in a chaotic household. Around 18 years old, in university, he became a personal trainer. Slowly he began working with more and more people and developed into a business called Fast Way To Fitness, helping people transform their bodies by focusing on boot camps, nutrition and mindset. He used to sit for hours on end in the consultation room with clients and they would talk about life, work, families, sex and all sorts of stuff and rarely talked about food and the results they get.
He had an incredible arc of success, but he was not used to all that money coming in, as a person coming from a poor family. By the time he turned 30 he got married and divorced. Things just started to fall apart for him. Ben noticed for the first time that he had to check in because something was not right. He realized his incessant need to work has turned him into a workaholic and he needed to put on the breaks. He went on a mental retreat where for the first time he could really stop and meditate and engage with yoga practices. He realized there was a lot to work on himself which brought him to men's work. This led to the realization that he likes men's work and decided to get back into coaching.

EP154: Resolving persistent arguments, calling your partner forward to do the work and weathering your woman's storms Featuring Brian Jenkins
Brian Jenkins’ work broadly started about five years ago, just after he and his wife had two weddings for both sides of the family. Then Brian found himself really doing a lot, trying to prove himself as a husband. A little before the wedding, he had another ambitious project that he was putting a lot of effort into, and after coming back from his honeymoon, he felt really exhausted and burned out. That spiralled into depression, self-loathing and pushed him straight into survival mode. Brian recognised that he was in bad shape. There were very few moments where he felt happy. Everything felt like a struggle for him. That was the part where he knew something had to change.
That sent him off on a journey to self-discovery. After getting into his first men's space, he found a coach and mentor. He had to face a lot of things and reconcile different visions he had about his life - Career, Financial, Personal, and Relational. But the thing that rocked his world and vision of becoming a father was when he received the news that he and his wife couldn’t have kids.

Ahmad Jooma and I were doing this podcast together back in the days when it was called The Authentic Dating. EP152: Seduction, Sexual Leadership, Dark Energy & Eros Featuring Alex Mischka
Alex Mischka is an embodied men's work facilitator. He is also doing intimacy relationship and sexuality coaching. He loves helping people return to their hearts, understand their blueprints, their true nature, and how they operate as beings in intimacy and relationships.
From an early age, the archetype of the lover from Jungian psychology was strongly expressed in his personality. He had this kind of pulse, and it took him a long time to go through his rite of passage. As a man who has lost his father at quite an early age, he was quite lost. His 20s were the lost years, a lot of drug addiction, confusion, debt and wrecked relationships. This led Alex to his dark night of the soul, where he realized the need to fix all that was happening, which marked the beginning of his healing work.
Initially, the lens of dating, social connection and especially how to really connect with women was the driver of this work. Then he discovered David Deida, things like shadow work, Carl Young, the archetypal realm and the inner child. So he began training in a number of modalities, and here he is today, about five years down the line, doing the incredible work that he does.

EP151: What men need to know about loving & making love to Women that have experienced sexual trauma featuring Amy White & Amelia Griffiths
This week’s is am joined by two wonderful women and former guests. And we dive into the delicate topic of loving and making love to women that have experienced sexual trauma. This is something that I don’t feel is talked about enough.
Amy is the founder of the Temple Of The Feminine, her titles change from time to time but essentially her expertise is in female sexuality from a holistic space. That includes embodiment trauma, understanding anatomy, pleasure and the esoteric as well.
As for Amelia, For the last three years she has been working as a sexual healer in London. Her passion is creating safe and sacred spaces for people to come home to their body, their pleasure and their sexuality. She is currently transitioning into a facilitation role - facilitating group experiences. She has really been to the depths of the darkness with her clients who have been navigating the quagmire of hell that is sexual trauma, and when it's causing challenges and discomfort in their life. Her approach is leaning towards more spiritual than physiological, and she has seen amazing results from that.

EP150: Clinical Psychologist talks Personality Disorders, Empathy and Compassion for Perpetrators, Trauma and Masculinity Featuring The Nice-ish Psychologist
In this week's episode, I am joined by Daniel, otherwise known as Nice-ish Psychologist, as we dive deep into what makes us Us and how trauma and masculinity shape how we view ourselves and the world around us.
Daniel is a qualified clinical and forensic psychologist. Currently works within Secure Care under the NHS' mental health system and His Majesty's Prison and Probation Service.
