Do you grab your belly fat? Check your weight often? Ask others "Do I look fat today?" or over-analyse your body in the mirror? Body checking is a mechanism that can become quite excessive and compulsive. At first, it feels like an innocent check in to see how you're looking, but it can soon become such a deeply ingrained habit that's hard to shake off.
