Has it really been eight months? Afraid so. It’s taken me so long to get back to doing mixes for a number of reasons. The biggest of which is that I moved from Dublin to Manchester at the end of September last year. I’ve been crazy busy getting settled in a new city, getting used to a new job (although still with the same company) and unpacking my clothes. I think I still have some stuff in boxes somewhere. In fact, think is a lie, I know I still have stuff in boxes.
So now that things have settled a little I was itching to get back into mixing again. As a result of moving here I gave up my gigs in Dublin. That was hard but we went out with a bang and I’ll always be eternally grateful to the The George and all who sail in her for giving me the chance to do my thing for so long. I miss it immensely still. On the upside, not having a weekend gig means I have more free time so I’m going to make a conscious effort to get these mixes out more regularly. Hopefully it won’t be so long next time.
This mix, DUB/MAN is a collection of my current favourite choons doing the rounds. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it and getting back into DJ mode.
Till next time turn it on, turn it up, spread it around like butter and dance like everyone’s watching.
Right-click and hit ‘save as’, or ‘save target as’, or ‘save linked file as’ and drag into iTunes.
