This week I had the opportunity to sit down with design Justin Van Genderen from 2046 Design. I've been a fan of Justin's work for a while so this was an exciting episode to record. In our conversation, we talked about the influence of science and technology on Justin's life and career, his creative process behind the designs he makes, and how he decides which designs will be stocked for his shop. Along with his design work, Justin is heavily inspired by space and technology, including people, companies, and projects like Nikola Tesla, NASA, and the Apollo space missions. It's not often that you see a fusion of science/technology and graphic design so Justin's work stands out by doing just that.
