Severe Storms in Texas; Wintry Weather North/Central Plains; Coastal Low in the Northeast - A slow moving cold front will bring potential for severe storms with large hail, damaging winds, and locally heavy rain across Texas. Farther north in the Plains, wintry conditions will continue. In the Northeast, a meandering coastal low will produce locally heavy rain, with interior snow, gusty winds, and coastal flooding.
