How and when did you start in Digital Marketing? Itʼs been 10 years now I am helping clients with Digital transformation from Tech to Marketing.
My first job (proper job apart from being gift delivery boy to Call Centre Executive) was with Email Marketing product in their Tech Support department as Customer Care & HTML developer. Back in 2009 I got this opportunity to know basics of Email Marketing and then my interest been drawn to SEO & .NET development.
Then with self pace learning cracked an opening with Smile group which was a game changer for me and my marketing career. Got a chance to work with incubation department to launch Fashion and You, Deals and You , Bestylish and to execute campaigns like Brand campaign like Incredible India, Atithi Devo bhava, Dominos, Hungry kya , all as executions and strategist. I have done execution of SEO, Web design, landing pages , Social media and basic app development on Facebook back in 2011 12. It was a game changer and made me thrive to learn more to gives best solutions to client and incubated projects of the company.
3rd stint that I had taken was with Internet Moguls to scale their Digital Marketing operation as project head to set up revenue based results for Hospitality Industry. Enabled clients like Lemon Tree, Royal Orchid Hotels, Ramee Group, Ramada , Pride and many others, on digital touch points to drive revenue. And in this journey I made myself expose to Digital research , Funnel Marketing, CRO , Data & Marketing Automation apart from basic digital marketing. I acted there as an Intraprenuer.
4th Stint I have initiated in August 2017 with Weaddo.
Tell us a bit about your current role at WeAddo I founded this Brand along with my partner with an aim of introducing SMEs and Brand with solutions beyond digital marketing. And these solution are based on Data, AI and ML to act as enabler for our clients in Digital and Omnichannel Marketing. In my current role like other start up I am taking care of more and less everything from day to day operations, strategy and innovation. However, major time me and my partner allocate to prepare internal capability and innovations for our clients.
How does a business get started with Conversion Optimization? Again back in 2017 December, We were facing challenges in acquiring clients with our new services and solution. Most of the brands and businesses are still in mode of digesting the data, AI and other MarTech Layers. So instead of bagging end to end solution I was thinking what can make us help our clients to increase their revenue without denting their pockets and showcase our capabilities.
One day over sprinting on cycle with this thought I saw a hoarding of Health brand and immediately clicked to my mind that this hoarding is not good placement for this brand and CTA is weak as well doesnʼt have detailing for user to connect. And Bingo , I thought letʼs do the same thing for few our prospects with digital ads and their current digital assets.
We pitched the same diagnosis to 3 clients and all of them awarded us the work. Now itʼs been 2019 we are managing and giving them results up-to 6x.

Yes, we have “HBAR” Framework which further been divided into Funnel and Communication of the brand on digital platform. Our framework works on business KPIs and for that we optimize end to end communication and journey of customer.
Any advice for freshers who want to make a career in Digital Marketing Start with basic and reading analytic data, if you can read reports from Google then you can come with the solution and review them for sure. Itʼs important to keep hands dirty with analytics of every kind along with keeping eyes on KPIs of the business
