Play episode · 1 hr 11 min

On episode 62, we bring on Dr. Keira Moore from Moore Behavior Consulting to talk all about sleep issues. Keira heard about us from her students and listened to our sleep episode and reached out to us and said we need some help, in the nicest possible way. She shared with us her approach to treating sleep issues as a BCBA-D. This chick knows what’s up when it comes to sleep and challenging behaviors. She has literally focused her entire career around the assessment and treatment of sleep problems. If you need hints on how the F to get your child to sleep or need advice for yourself (like Liat did), Tune the F in or miss the F out.

My Bad! Learning the Power Behind Personal Accountability!
My bad! These two simple words can do more to diffuse a potentially charged situation than almost any other in the English language. Personal accountability is a skill that can be developed, and when acknowledged, “owning it” can cause a ripple effect in your life, and can have a significant positive impact on your relationships. In today’s episode, Tony references the article How To Help Your Child with Accountability by Erin Leonard Ph.D. and then applies this information, and more, into our adult relationships. Why is it so difficult to admit fault, and how does our own lack of ownership of our own problems affect our children, as well as our relationships with others? - Tony mentioned a product that he used to take out all of the "uh's" and "um's" that, in his words, "must be created by wizards and magic!" because it's that good! To learn more about Descript click here - Please subscribe to The Virtual Couch YouTube channel at and sign up at to learn more about Tony’s upcoming “Magnetic Marriage” program! - Tony's FREE parenting course, “Tips For Parenting Positively Even In the Not So Positive Times” is available NOW. Ep 47: Amelia Diamond
We’ve recorded more episodes in COVID times than in non-COVID times for awhile now so this is an episode where we just check in with each other (featuring the wonderful writer Amelia Diamond!). It’s October. How are we doing? (Insert Dorinda’s “Not Well, B*tch” gif here). We talk about how we’re getting work done (and how we’re not), the things we miss, the weirdness we feel. And yes, we talk about products too: Amelia brings her PedEgg and then we wax lyrical about body hair removal for awhile (get it? Wax?).  I hope you guys are doing okay, too. It’s been like, a really long time. And this still just really really sucks! But hopefully this episode makes you laugh, because we laughed a lot while recording it. (Follow Gee Thanks! on Insta:! I wanna see you there! And on Facebook! GIFT GUIDE ALERT: They are coming (and FAST). Want them earlier than everyone else? Sign up here: so you don’t miss the next one!
