S2 E3: Elsie Gregory MacGill with Dr. Crystal Sissons
Elsie Gregory MacGill was Canada's first female aeronautical engineer (and possibly, the world's first female aeronautical engineer) and a prominent women's right's activist who worked in Fort William (now Thunder Bay), but there's so much more of Elsie to discover!
We invited Dr. Crystal Sissons to discuss MacGill's extraordinary life with us. Dr. Sissons is Elsie's biographer and completed her master’s degree and PhD at the University of Ottawa, which led her to spend more than a decade researching Elsie's life. She also holds degrees in education and history from Lakehead.
