As part of Girl Up Brisbane's mission to help young girls and women within our community, we have created our podcast, Unapologetic, where we interview inspiring women within our community to highlight the power of storytelling.

This week, our amazing member Skye interviews author, motherhood mentoring coach, and women's rights activist Jess, in our seventh episode. Jess shares her story from being a lawyer, to volunteering in third world countries, to facing tragedy, to finding love, to igniting a passion for change. Jess' story is a confronting one, but a touching one, especially in light of the current traction surrounding women's rights, sexual assault, and mental health.
