Raising a child that has a healthy relationship with food starts from their first bites but there are so many opinions, varying “solutions”, and methods out there it can easily get overwhelming for parents. If you know my style, you know I am not about time-consuming techniques or making separate meals. I’m looking for the straightforward basics and keeping it simple.
Today I’m talking with registered dietician, Priscila Cleary about how to feed our kids with confidence. She’s a specialist in infant and toddler feeding and passionate about helping parents feed their children with confidence from the start to develop a healthy and positive relationship with food.
Today we’re covering
-Her advice to parents who may be dealing with their own challenging relationships with food.
-What a balanced plate looks like for an average kid?
-How we can help kids understand different types of food and what they do for our bodies.
